  1. Thank you again.........................Daniel
  2. Anyone here go to Silverdale?? I would like to hook up with someone to try out my flintlock rifle for the first time. I have never been to this range..........................Daniel
  3. Exactly, I couldn't remember the name. Thanks for posting. Holy moly I'm gettin old.............................Daniel
  4. I watched an episode of River Monsters in which Mr. Wade was fishing near Chernoble and catching fish that were very similar to our Yellow Pickeral or Sauger.
  5. I would like to get into kayak fishing. What style is best for this old man?? Sit in or sit on?? I would use it in creeks and small lakes up North. Thanks........................Daniel
  6. I couldn't watch that crap. Those people obviously need some kind of professional help.
  7. Hi all, I will have my 10 year old Grandson in July and would like to get him out on the lake. (Ontario or Erie) for an adventure. Looking for the best bang for my bucks. Any recommendations out there ?????? Thanks................................Daniel
  8. It is a big deal. Pounds or kilos that is still a fish that I would be happy to catch. I did not mean to "belittle" your catch. Hint........next time post a pic of the length beside a tape rule and without a weigh scale. Makes for a better pic and others will drool. LOL.......................Daniel
  9. Hey Smerch do you need new cheaters?? The scale says 1 LB 0 OZ.................still a nice fish
  10. If you choose to salt them, do not use table salt...use the coarse pickling salt. Just dry off yer minnows on a paper towel and toss them in a sandwich bag with a few spoons of salt. Shake 'em up and let sit a few hours and then you can freeze them. I use them a lot and they catch fish...........Daniel
  11. I am pretty sure that the anglers daily limit will not change. The numbers are an aggregate of both sportsmen and commercial harvest. In other words, the commercial boys can have a greater harvest this year............................Daniel
  12. We always referred to them as the "Butterfly" fillets. Good post.....................Daniel
  13. Hey Bud. I saw yer post from MD. A couple of nice Pike and a beauty Crappie. I'm hoping to get there when the wind dies down a bit.

Do you still work at J&L???? You came and measured my basement steps and a small area for a rug. Remember me??? I showed you my flintlock rifle I am building..................Daniel

  14. We would quite often bury our fish scraps in the vegetable or flower garden. I never saw any harm as long as you don't put too much in one hole and make sure they are deep enough that the neighbors cat won't get at them...............................Daniel
