I just want people to know there are some good people out there who give others a break when they don't need to .....Some people here know I'm waiting to see a surgeon for gall badder removal & we have a trailer at Quinte that we paid for the season . We only used it for 5 days & haven't been there since my last attack ....been staying pretty close to home to fish in case I have another sudden attack & have an appointment to see the surgeon Sept 17 . The owner of the park , Dave Hogenboom got his secretary to call us said he would drop half of all costs this season (dock fees, pump out , hydro ), saving us a grand ! There are many people from Niagara there and we are very appreciative of his kindness . There are still very good people among us .....

Good luck with that gall bladder Bill, and a quick recovery. We have always been treated fairly by Dave every year when our group goes there in the spring. Yes there are a few good people around.

Hope all is well Bill and yes there's good left in this world. I had my gull bladder removed years back. It's only day surgery and not so bad A lot worst are the attacks. They hurt. Lazer surgery is simple and fast. I was up and fishing the next day :)

Thanks Cliff . I hope I get the laser surgery as well and recover as quickly ....I have a few more years on the old body (71) .

Thanks Rick , I'm hoping to get the deed done asap , the Sept.17 appt. is only a consultation , then another wait for the laser . I'm hoping to get another trip to Quinte before the park closes . ......and the perch are real hungry in the fall !

Had gall bladder removed yeaes ago. The most pain was waking up after surgery and had no morphine yet. After a moment the nurse came over and gave me some and back to sleep i went. It sucks for a while after, you have to train yourself what you can and can't eat and i tend to stay away from things that triggered attacks previously (blueberry pancakes are off my eating because they triggered a painful attack)

PM me if you have questions or just wanna chat about it smerchly

That's nice of the campground to do that for you. Hope your surgery goes well and the recovery. I notice your always fishing from shore around the niagara region. If you ever wanna get out in a boat your more then welcome to come out with me. It's on me, don't worry about gas or anything like that. Pm me if u wanna go. Love reading your daily fishing posts.

That is very kind of you Tyler . I have been avoiding any boating ....just in case I get sick . After I recoup and regroup from the surgery I hope to get to use my own boat as it is now sitting in the fenced compound at Mohawk Bay . Good thing I put stabilizer in the gas ( Star Tron) .
