Prayers To The Family Of The We Victim

Tragedy struck today as some poor excuse for a human being decided to drive drunk and get on the highway in the wrong direction killing another driver obeying the rules of the road and probably on the way to work to provide for his family. Sorry to whoever may know or be related to the victim. This Liberal should go to jail for life as if he had used a loaded gun

the victim was the son of my parents friends. last weeks accident involving the pedestrian happened in front of their neighbors place, involving their parked cars. these 2 incidents hitting close to home are pretty unsettling.

worse part is both drivers probably wont get much as far as "doing time" if at all.

Just heard about that this morning....pretty sad. My condolences to the family. How is it possible to drive the wrong way on a hwy. If that driver was impaired, thats manslaughter and they will do time.

I'd up that charge to 2nd degree murder . Driving drunk on a highway is as bad as firing a gun in a crowd with a blind fold on . These people must serve a minimum 20 years for killing an innocent person . A good start would be a $10,000 fine for the first time DUI ......same with texting . The young man who lost his life was identified as Greg Morley from St.Catharines ......only 31 years old......

My sisrer was killed by an impaired driver in 1971. He had so many outstanding warrants for drug offences and B&Es that the crown decided not to charge him with the impaired charges. Our system has some flaws in it IMO.

If I shoot you well drunk it's murder if I drive over you well drunk it's manslaughter. Urgh seems to me the drinking age is 19 at that point ur supposedly responsible enough to drink. If that's the case why don't these people have to take the full brunt of the responsibility for taking thay life. And I'm jot just talking about jail time, I'm talking garnished wages to support the victims family and in his jail cell a picture and description of the accident so he can't ever forget. Not to mention when the little one cries because she/he has lost there father that Liberal has to listen to the pain. I'd tell you if I was the other parent of that child I'd take the 9 years because doing that time is a lot easier then watching your child for those 9 years cry and miss and grow without there father

  • 2 weeks later...

I still believe that the best cure for the problem would be to lock the culprit in a cell for 10 minutes with the victim's family. Justice would surely be served.
