Every Year for 15 years, we have ran this event and looking back I'm sure glad we did. Nothing like a steelhead on the line at this time of the winter. They are full of energy. This year you (open to the public) can meet us at the Queenston Ramp for a one Day derby for Niagara River Steelhead.
One change that has only recently been added is that Shore fisherman and Boat fisherman will compete in seperate categories.
That way its an equal playing field for both sides.
Payout Structure will be based on number registered.
Boat Anglers- >= 10 boats we pay out 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Otherwise it's 100% first for less than 10 boats.
Shore Anglers - >=20 fisherman we pay out 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Otherwise it's 100% first for less than 20 fisherman.
15% goes back to the club, 85% payout.
