Took a drive today.
I could barely see bottom standing on the dock wall.
Queenston drift some ice

but not as bad as the rest of the river.

The drift is not bad,not much ice,about the same as the other day when I dropped down.
Vis is still 3-4' Green tint to water. 2 boats out from our side.

Hi brian
Do you know how the boats did? and how boats are doing now?last year I remember a picture of your boat not able to get back in , does that happen now?

That pic your talking about was at Port Dalhouise I believe. I have been talking to some guys that don't post,they all pritty much said it was hit and miss on the Bar,but when it's hit time it's really busey.
With the way the ice is flowing I'd be alittle scared to say the least to head to the Bar,my worst nightmare is getting stuck out on the lake.
Last year I was out on the Bar,next day I took a drive and found icesheets,thick ice sheet flowing down the river ,I would never have got back up if it was flowing like that the day before. This pic is down by the Navy hall
These sheets were atleast 6-12" thick

Yes I didn't fish the Bar much last Feb. just for that very reason.
