looks like stretch marks on that big belly of the bass. what a lunker, didnt know big bass like that were in japan, always thought the southern usa and mexico had all the monsters in it.

If only it were legal in Ontario to fish using live bluegills.

I didn't think the feeding/growing season in Canada is long enough for them to get that big in a lifetime.
It is so crazy how much bigger bass get in the south. Biggest largemouth I've ever caught in Ontario was about 5 or 6, in 20 years of fishing. I went down to Florida in June 08, and in 10 minutes of fishing I beat my PB by 2 pounds, in some little random pond. Crazy.
