HI all goin to wildwoods tomorrow morning getting up at 4:30. gonna be a nipply -23 winds not bad N 15 km. ill post pics of the out come

Good. I've never seen Wildwood frozen over. Are you going to the upper part or lower?

my noob question : what/where is wildwoods?

I googled it and got something about reforestation after deforestation.

ok now I remember this place....about 5 years ago we went there on a daytrip during the summer and I was casting my line out but my dad said I wasn't casting far enough (I was aiming for a weedbed) and so he took the rod gave a huge cast and the reel fell off about 15 feet into the water. He looks at the water and since it is fairly shallow he said "uhhhh, Erik you have shorts on.........my legs are kinda stiff can you go in and get it?" and thats why I don't wear shorts while fishing......

we did fairly well today, yes the upper part of the lake is frozen with only 5 " though lots of cracking going on. we managed 5 northerns from 2 pounds up to 5 pounds. lots of perch. everything photographed and released ill post them some time tonight or tomorrow
