The event is to raise funds to support the Port Colborne Marine Rescue Auxiliary (POCOMAR), a 24/7 all volunteer marine search & rescue unit based out of Port Colborne. This is a charitable organization that relies on public support and donations for funding for equipment maintenance and training. Last season POCOMAR was the busiest marine rescue auxilliary unit in all of central and arctic Canada with 34 search and rescue cases in the waters off Port Colborne.
The Jim Gram Tribute Golf Tournament, named after a past Unit Commander, is a fun day of golf for all skill levels. Fun, food, and prizes are available for all.
With your entry you get:
18 holes of golf
a golf cart
a snack after 9 holes
a buffet dinner
and prizes, prizes, prizes!
Mini-competitions through-out for more prizes, and a chance to win a Legend fishing boat from Nicholl's Marine for a hole-in-one prize!
Cost is $100 per golfer. 1:00pm shotgun start. Register individually or as a foursome!
