Hey I had no idea were to put this so feel free too move it too appropriate spot Im planning a hiking trip along the Bert Lowe Side trail since it has a new starting point on the welland canal walkway we will be starting there its a 22.5 km loop trail we will go by the decew house and other fun stuff please leave a comment or PM me if intrested, date yet to be confirmed I wanna find out how many people are planning on coming it will be on a weekend though.
things you will need to bring
20L travel bag or Large Backpack
at least 2L of water
snacks and juice
lunch we will stop about halfway for a lunch break
spare jacket
wool socks cause if you dont yo will get blisters I learned the hard way on my first hike
Hiking Boots
non 100% cotton clothing
camera with spare batteries
flashlight
rain gear
spare socks
also no drinking of alcohol while hiking

Joey you gotta give props to the original organizer. I agree this sounds like Lenny and the facebook group for backpackers. If so place a link so others who might be interested can join his group.

Actually, from long experience humping a rifle while in full combat gear, a pair of 100% cotton socks under a pair of 100% wool socks is the way to go, even in warm weather.
