This looks like a great place to fish for pans, cats and carp. There is a parking spot right at the side of the road and allot of turtles in the area. This little creek empties into a bigger creek 100 yards behind my kayak and there is a very large beaver hut on the other side of the bigger creek. I'm betting one could catch a mirror there. There is also a stand of Osage Orange trees right beside the road there.

Can you guess what road and on which Niagara Creek this was taken on?

Here are some pictures from the main Creek. What a perfect day for kayaking :)

I spoke with two other boaters and was surprised not to see more.

i'm guessing beaver dams, i'm not too familiar with the area, never fished it, but the lures on the power lines looks familiar
it's about time i went fishing.

Holy smokes Joe! Was that you out with Bondar today? The bird picture is only one bridge over from Stanley but the culvert picture is the dip just before the QEW. I've never seen the Osage Orange trees there before. The nice scenery picture in the first post was up Tea Creek and if you ever have a chance to get up there in a kayak after a good rain it is a delight! There is an old dam half way up but the water goes right over now and there are a few tee offs in the golf course that I had to rush by. Fore!!!!! :P

That spot in the first picture would be a good place for beginners to try in the Niagara Falls area (Watch the traffic though) and as I said I'm betting you's find goldfish, mirrors and common carp there.
Here was the view directly behind me from the first shot.

The beaver hut and notice the tower in the background.

The hovering duck!

Some of the obstacles have recently been cut by the drainage superintendents I'd guess. It was easy to maneuver through the slight openings.

And way up there was quite a current where fish were snapping at flies and you only have to paddle one way (up that is :P )

Too tight to fish from shore and you'll need the Navigable Waters Act to legally get you through the golf course and getting through the deadwood with a fishing rod would be hard even in a kayak but boy I'd love to get in there with an ultralight and try :P

So Joe did you see me there cause I thought this was a hard one :)

lol no I didn't see you dan I was busy getting the boat ready for my trip next week. I used to fish there a lot with JWL and another one of my buds that has since moved to NS, then with my son for a few years. I've never been one to stick to one waterway I have to explore them all ;) that one just happened to be near where I used to live :)

On a side note that's where Joey caught his first perch :) I have that picture framed.

Too late to the party but I was paddling up Tee Creek 2 weeks ago. It is thick with carp. I was hitting one with my paddle about every 3 minutes.
