A few weeks back someone posted an article about legalizing backyard chickens within St. Catharines. Here is the online petition Ian - the guy who got the ball rolling - has created. Take a look and if you're in favour don't be afraid to sign it! ;)

We get our eggs from a friend who has about 10 chickens just outside of Welland . These brown eggs are extra large & have thicker shells and have more flavour than the sickly store bought eggs . I signed the petition since I know how much healthier these eggs are to eat .

I live in South Thorold... I wish this applied to us. I'd love to raise chickens.
Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
