Description
Join us for our 2nd annual summer clean up of the Glen! This year we will divide to conquer a few different areas and tasks ranging from fire pit removal and glass pick up to general garbage pick up from the Whirlpool to the Glen!

Students needing community service hours are welcome.

*Please bring your own gloves*

We will be meeting at the parking lot at the top of the Glen.
If you say shut up and fish then shut the hell up when they tell you that you can't fish anymore!

Figures I work this Saturday....I dont think I could make it anyways with my out of shapeness and back....btw anyone know a good remedy for a slipped disc?

This is a "Friends of the Glen" cleanup. I can't make it myself as I have plans already. Joey don't forget about Father's Day :worthy:

I hope they don't find much garbage though. They just did a clean up in Late April when we did Queenston.

Sad as it is, there is a lot of litter down there already. mostly budweiser cans, tim hortons cups and energy drinks. if the city would pay me i'd patrol the paths with a big stick enforcing a strict no littering rule. :worthy:

Pretty much every time I'm down there I bring a plastic bag to line my pack to toss garbage in. I feel like its getting worse every year. Including the graffiti on the rocks and trees. I'm pretty sure the Niagara Parks don't have any trails designated with MS+KS markers.
Make that a BIG stick.
