Big leaf plant

For you "planteurs" , I grow a few of these every year . The large seeds can be saved & planted in a pot before replanting . This plant grows to about 10 feet and has a stock as big as my wrist . Some of these plants have reddish coloured leaves and provide a nice shady cover for a window or in this case , our deck . There are some dangers about this plant also .......no eating the "fruit"

I heard terrorists grew them and refined their fruit to make a weapon.

are castor plants native to these parts?
Everyone has to believe in something........ I believe I will go fishing.
