I can't put up good fishing reports without a camera. I need something with at least a manual focus option and prefer the slr style over a compact. Has anyone upgraded lately? Any suggestions on a good camera to buy? (econo)

My fugi finepix 4 mp with 10x opt zoom is dead. sad.gif

Sorry, Dan. Only thing I've got in an SLR I don't really use is a 35mm. But I snatched the lens off it for my DSLR. I'd watch The Nameless Paper (I'll PM if you want me to clarify) for the ads is the best advice I have.

Well after checking the bank funds I decided I can't afford a new camera without the mobs permission so I found a good even trade. Thanks RB and let me know if that slim thingy doesn't work out for ya and we'll reverse the switch but I know I'm happy. It's like I got my old camera back.

Chilli thanks to you as well. The wife needed the simplicity of point and shoot. Seeing as she is always taking the pics, my camera was just too much! Im glad you like the camera. We like yours or should I say ours as well. It was also nice meeting you as well.
