Just picked one call "xtreme canada bass" or something from Chapter the other day, it cover all modern tech of catching bass. Good read, for the first time I finish the whole magazine.

No, it is not a new magazine has constantly evolved since the 1990's. This issue is by far Kalonka's best offering. A must read for the avid bass angler. Some articles are rather generic for those who are getting into the sport while others are tailored towards those looking for tried and true big fish tactics. A definite asset to your collection. M

Good read over all, $6 well spend.

Fyi, if you're looking from something new you maybe disappointed, but they do a good job explaining what do to in what situation.

Yeah, I agree....first issue too. Love the editorial guy....he also "TELLS IT LIKE IT IS"....hope he stays that way. :(

As for the others....meh :dunno: Ontario Out Of Doors used to be good, but I'm an In-Fisherman fan only.

Ever since Outdoor Canada mentioned this site in their 2004 special fishing edition, they have become my favourite mag. :dunno:

I contributed to both the Extreme Bass Annual and the Ultimate Fishing Annual this year. I did one article on Niagara Trout and one for the bass issue on the Upper Niagara River. The magazines are a good read. If you can't find them in the stores(they mayy be sold out already) you can visit www.extremeanglertv.com and order them through the site. Karl's show has also been picked up on Prime starting in January.

I'll second that :( Definetly a good read with lots of tips on salmon and walleye. If you want to catch up on your collection I have back issues from JAn until present. :dunno:
