Yep ! killed them gobies ......all 5 of them :worthy: :worthy: ......I started tossing a jointed Ralala on a 3 way set up to reach the 25 ' depths and switched to a few more lures and spoons and ...notta hit. Rockfish shows up and he gives it a good try with a few spoons and zilch hits too .I switched to bottom fishing with minnows and got a few small perch, rock bass , and some gobies  ...which are now deceased ........ I even got two at once and thought I had a nice size fish . These guys are very dark ,comming from 25 to 30 fow .(Rec.canal)

And some of them bite as hard as a big perch and fight like one too ....this one is over 6" long..... ;) ....hate to see this place loaded with these hungry parasites . I don't know where the pike are ,but the water is still very cold and clear . Think I'll wait until we have a warm spell before giving it another shot .

You shoulda joined me after the Welland adventures to try at Port D. Smerch, I got one Pike 28", will post later when the 24 pic roll of film is used up. Caught it in Div. #8 of Port D. which will close at the end of the month. Not much of a start in the Pike-off but still a Pike, complete with tape measure and thanks for the NFN sign, today Smerch. :worthy:
