It's the first time in 5 years that Peter's tackle had to cough up the $3000 for the first fish over 30#. That fish is also leading the salmon derby, but I highly doubt it will be in first when all is said and done in July. If the fish are that big in May, imagine what 2 more months of feeding will do.

I signed the guy up this winter and told him to mingle with some members to get some fishing tips.
He quickly mingled in with Billy Ball and scored on the Laker Board. Billy and Jerry know the Laker game.
Wayne Bennett was with Jerry Barnett, Bill Ball and Niagara this week reporter Pat P when he caught the monster and took the cash. Who knows maybe it will have a picture in the next Niagara this week.

That is a nice fish. Looking forward to the late summer run, they should have some weight to them.

:worthy: :worthy: :D the only problem is I heard there is a bounty out for the angler so Pete WON'T have to pay up :blush: :lol: JUST JOKING. Great catch.I hope the fish is on Ice and will be bellie cut.Not saying anything is wrong but you know every thing should be covered before $$$$ is isued, And don't take this statement the wrong way I don't need to get my A$$ jumped again.it was just a comment to make sure that no rummors start and put a damper on this great catch.We all know how things get started just wanted to give a heads up incase it was overlooked. There are 2 parts to the spring derby. Non member derby ends the end of June, the members derby (which runs in conjuction with non-member) runs until the end of July.
