Well it seems the Sand docks in Queenston will be fenced off and closed down for anglers. From what Ive gathered they will be using it as a parking lot for the jetboats and this is also due to the extreme amounts of garbage left behind. Now this is one of my favourite spots to fish because I can take someone whos never fished and they could have a chance at catching a monster fish so once again because of retards and tourism we lose another fishing opportunity

That one DOESN'T surprise me. It was a long time coming. But yeah, sad to see it actually go.

[attachment=321:attachment][attachment=320:attachment][attachment=319:attachment]too bad you can't really fish here any more either.man I have caught tons of fish there....wasn't worried about posting these pics cuz well..they aren't gonna let half the city and thier brothers fish there anyways, man we are losing way to many good shore fishing spots for sure..and no wonder people aren't posting to many locations...who wants to find 50 people at thier spots
If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine, and my tunes where played on the harp unstrung, would you hear my voice come through the music, would you hold it near as it where your own?

The area residents have been cleaning that for along time and it still always looks like a dump.
I agree long time coming and too bad for us who do leave their garbage in the car.
Lookout come April when the smelts are in. They will be fisticuffs at the ramp for space.

The saddest thing is with every closure, it forces the slobs into more concentrated areas which causes more closures. :o
If you say shut up and fish then shut the hell up when they tell you that you can't fish anymore!

That realy sucks it's one of my fave spots to, but ya the garbage was bad.
The last time I was down there they had a dumpster that was over flowing
and the ground was covered in trash. It's also not such a good spot to take
the kids to because of all the rusted hooks/ line that slobs discard.
I wonder how many holes will be cut in that fence?

Even if some of the garbage is left by non fishers , we must pick it up on our way out . I'd like to see much heavier fines for littering ......We have too many old laws that don't reflect the higher incomes of today . How about a $500 min. fine for littering to start ? Every offence after that doubles .......I think it would get the pigs attention if they saw their beer $$$ being infringed on ........

they would have beer money if they picked up half thier empties..I am a fellow angler who always cleans up the area around be..me and my buddy used to always bring a trash bag down to the glen and fill it up on the way back...we obviously didn't get all the trash..but i can say they we at least put forth an effort on our part...its too nice down there not to want to clean it up....people wreck all the spots fore sure...thats one of the reasons why you can't park down near pebbly for years now too....too much garbage left at the side of the road where you could park...and a couple dummies blocking the road so the hydro workers couldn't get the big boom trucks through..that like the sandocks was always private property...they just kinda tollerated the fishing down there..and years ago..no one ever left a mess down there.
