hello frim shanghi china.been here 2 weeks seen one guy fishing with a bamboo pole but he hadent caught anything.will be here another 6 weeks hope to tryfishing if i can find a pole.didnt relize how much i would miss fishing.well aleast i can read about it here.use dont know how lucky you are.cya

I feel really bad for you Barry. Wouldn't you need a license there? I could imagine it being as polluted as Hell.

polluted.u could probably walk across the water if thats what u want to call it.seen the stars for the first time the other night.its 38% in the daytime and u cant even see the sun for all the smog.but its an interesting place to see how pepole live-poverty aint the word but there happy and friendly.best thing is beer is 6 bucks canadian for 12 bottles of quarts and its pretty good.CHEERS.cant wait to get back to Canada

Hi Mazz.....Happy Holidaying ! You should be able to get a good fishing pole in China.......they probably make more there than anywhere in the world , including the reel and tackle . Show your friends how we catch fish in Canada and then show us the pictures ! It would be interesting to see what kinds of fish you have there ! Good Fishing Mazz

yeah it is pretty amazingbut not just hollidaying im training pepole how to run 5 spindle lathes.pretty tough when they dont speak english or me chinese
