I found these along the Friendship Trail in Fort erie and at Marcy's Woods as well.

Well I know its not what I named it.

They look like an American Bladdernut. I wonder if it has any uses. The seed pod is basically air but with three tiny hard seeds inside and they didn't seem to have any flavour.

I see the pictures are by a fellow by the last name Muma, when I was young there was a local CO by the name Roy Muma, wonder if this is a son or grandson that followed in the outdoors field?
Quite a few species found along the north shore of Erie that are more common further south.

There was a Muma that was really into horticulture in the Fort Erie Conservation Club also but he is passed.
