  1. Yup I need to find myself a nice quiet spot of the river to "self-quarantine". This NOFISH-20 virus I have is just not cutting it.
  2. Yeah the last 2 weeks or so I've been filling up for 84c - 85c per litre.
  3. Yeah this happens whenever they get a cold spell down there. About 3 winters ago when we had the -20's for a while, alot of them died from the "cold" weather they were getting.
  4. Dave you're making me feel to head over there. Solitude is what I'm after here, and its alot of hiking to find it in these parts.
  5. Thanks for the reminder Smerch; mine expires at the end of the month. Need to get my 3 year in...
  6. This is a secret spot Dave...lol
  7. I used it mainly for casting spoons for salmon. But its so sensitive, I could easily detect perch bites and anything inbetween. Lots of walleye caught using a 3 way rig on it as well.
  8. 2 weeks would be a problem for me as well. Would they be allowing double the amount? 2 bags at 20kgs each?
  9. 34 inches wide? Is this one of those fishing tales? lol Those leaves are massive.
  10. Haha I've got the same rod that broke in the same spot. It served me well for many years.
  11. I've got a guide to change as well; hardest thing is to find the right type of guide replacement.
  12. What type of rod is it knightfisher?
  13. that looks and sounds tasty. I like to cut up a tomato and fry it with my eggs.
  14. I agree with you smerch. We're connected by land and water to the US...these creatures don't know about borders; they cross if they want to.
  15. Nice little vid; makes me feel to get myself a kayak.
  16. I will try to make it out with my 3 year old...He will have fun.
  17. Being in spots like that can do wonders for your health...
  18. Given the intellect of some of the fishermen out here, I can see a problem with this at spots with limited shore area. Even though your rod may be within 20' of the next, it doesn't mean that the line is strait out and 20' apart, those lines could be 50' apart or even more. You won't have them close together and risk getting tangled when you hook a fish.
  19. beauty pike w1w. How deep is it there in your postcard shot?
  20. That alone would deter me from entertaining the thought of getting one. Those prices have to come down quite a bit to fool me...lol
