For me, its almsot time to put away the fly rod, but I think we might have a few more days in the + ahead of us still, to scratch the itch one last time.. When do you guys typically put the gear away? or do you?

I'm indi fishing 90% percent of the time but swinging has it's days too. Whatever gets me bent..

Nice fish I love the snow picture! I have never used a fly rod ever. So I could not tell you! But I do hope to purchase a fly rod this summer gonna try for bass up north and see how that is! Hopefully its as awesome as people say it is!

Solid catches there Derek!! Do you fish with a spey setup at all?

Thanks guys, Bones I like a 7 or 8 wright rod, switch or spey.. And I like to step the line up a weight or too for indi fishing, to get a better turn over.

Craiger, ya I have a guideline act4 12'6 8/9 I use down there, Iam just staring to get the addiction of swinging flies, man that hit on a tight line is awesome..

Oh yeah man, nothing like the huge tug on the line. I've almost lost my rod while daydreaming through the swing and a huge chromer slams the fly. Even if you lose the fish it still makes your day.
