'fishing's Global Footprint'

Here's an interesting article from BBC regarding the sustainability of our global fisheries:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-16766738

I'm a proponent for stricter regulation, but I'm also able to recognize the pitfalls of using the 'precautionary principle' to justify legislating such proposals. IMO, the proposals suggested in the article are a step in the right direction, but more scientific research must be conducted first.. Any thoughts or comments?

Commercial fishers to keep up with demand. This will be even more evident when we start seeing strange fish at the markets. That will be because the popular fish will be too expensive, rare, protected or extinct.

Get ready for your Asian Carp fillets. ;)

I think the Madarin already has those in soy sauce,YUM.
