canadianfcat
I'm planning on leaving my boat at my trailer in this summer but wonder about the safety of it? Anyone heard of stuff being stripped off boats in the summer?
bigugli
Boats get ransacked and stripped just about anywheres. Trailer park, cottage, driveway, marina, etc... I do know of a few boats that have been hit in the Falls area the past year.
smerchly
My bro in law lives at a trailer park near Ft.Erie . His new Legend was parked about 100 meters away at the back of the park . Thieves came in through the back woods from the QEW & stole the 50 HP Merc. 4 stoke motor & dragged it through a swampy area using the boats cover . He never saw the motor again . Thieves are everywhere these days .....be extra wary of your stuff .
canadianfcat
I was hoping I could leave it in the water for most of the summer but you guys are right. I see a ton of boats over on Colbeck and wondered if it was an major or minor issue.
rickyy33
I kept my old boat on the welland river, right by niagara st area, no one ever touched it. it all depends on what part of welland river, more towards niagara st aqueduct theres no boat traffic, so no one really knows, if your more down towards airport theres a lot more traffic on the water more visibilty..
