ogliq2
Just as a point of Interest, I was told the other day that there's a pair of bald eagles nesting in Port Colborne. First time a pair has nested around here in 50 years apparently....
Chrisb
It was in the Welland Tribune this week. They are on the Vale property. The same article also that there there are 5 pairs nesting in the Niagara region. http://www.wellandtribune.ca/2012/04/08/ministry-aware-of-bald-eagles-nest

smerchly
The eagles have been cruising over the lower grand for many years . While fishing for walleye there we watched a big eagle make 3 passes at a fish before it snared it in it's talons . What a sight to see .

I saw some pictures of a bald eagle on its nest in p.c the other day at work. They must nest around dunnville too ,I've seen four flying together over the dam once and another time got pretty close to a younger one on the grand.A buddy of mine(Kuha)on here seen 1 twice near Jordan harbour a couple weeks ago.Pretty wild considering a few years ago I assumed you had to go north to see them
