pudge
Hi i was wondering if there is anyway to mount a bow mounted trolling motor on the back af a kayak so i could use the foot control instead of steering with my hand.....Thanks
spiro
Wow... never thought of that! Would have to be a bigger kayak. the weight of the battery and motor would change the way they kayak rides in the water.

CLofchik
There's a company called BassYaks that make kits to replace the usual rudder setup with a cut down MinnKota lower unit that uses your yaks rudder pedals. http://bassyaks.com/products/kits-available/ A typical trolling motor mount is too big & heavy to mount on the back end of your yak. And remember you'd now be considered a power boat, so you'd need to carry an operator card along with other stinkboat regs.
