Phranchise
I was reading a thread on here last week about Dils Lake at the Chippawa Creek Conservation Area. A buddy and myself are gonna put the kayaks in tomorrow and check it out. We wanted to launch at sunrise but I am now thinking that since there is a fee to get in, you probably can't get in til the park opens at 8 am. Is this true or can we launch earlier? YakFisher
You could do an overnight camp out if you really wanted. The fees are super cheap, then you could be up and ready right at dawn. What I have been doing though is going in the afternoon and staying til dark. The park technically closes at 830 but if you are quiet, they won't bother you if you stay a little late. There are some massive girls in there. I went the other day and saw the biggest fish in my life. I didn't catch it, but it launched at my frog and missed. Its whole body came out of the water. Man, she was huge. There its also a nice crappie population in there too. Good luck.
