Piker
Anyone know where to find the foam blocks to carry a kayak on the roof of my car. I know CT has the whole kit thing for $40, but I want just the blocks. I use my own ratchet straps rather than their mess of rope and stuff... Piker
Tried the pool noodles, they roll off before I get the yak on em, and I've got a Trident 13 which has a big V bottom, I rather have some better support. I'd get a roof rack and all if my car wasn't so close to its demise...I want the CT ones, just without all the extra stuff...

CLofchik
Careful with the ratchets, too easy to overtighten and start to deform the boat. Sail & MEC sell the blocks, so does the canoe shop under the Hamilton Skyway.
