iHasFish
I'm heading up to belmont lake to a friends cottage. im trying to find info online but it's pretty sparse. Was hoping someone might be able to help me with a tip or two. I was looking at the rivers that fill into the lake and I was curious if they were cold enough for trout. thanks for any help
corey
http://www.web2.mnr.gov.on.ca/fish_online/fishing/fishingExplorer_en.html If it's the one near Havelock it appears to have everything but Trout. Use the tool above, it's pretty cool.
iHasFish
Been here a couple of days now and this is quite the fishery. Lots of stuff in the 2lb range. Haven't seen anything bigger but the word from the locals is that there are 6lb bass around.
Tri-Guy
I've never seen trout come out of Belmont or Crow lake beside it. if you have access to a boat and want musky, I highly recommend launching into round lake off Anderson rd. head directly west to the north river mouth and work the top of the weed beds with tub jigs. lots of smaller musky in the 5 to 10 pound range. Ainsley
I go to a cottage every year up there. Decent fishing. I always enjoy fishing top water on that lake.

iHasFish
The northern most tip of the lake. Weeds with a plastic craw on a swim bait hook
Ainsley
Never fished that section. My fav spots are the bays around the streams on the east and west of the lake. I'll be up there in two weeks, I'll have to give it a shot.
