We had a fly swap a while back and someone tied some of those perch streamers with synthetic and those were killers. I think I hooked a fish on every second cast. They were pretty simple to tie and used a majic marker for the stripes on the sides. The only problem was they never lasted too long once you got a few weeds on them and tried to pull the weeds off they lost the look. The perch pattern was great though...
