I've also done restoration work and volunteered with TU last summer. I'm going to be picking up a copy of this tomorrow. Will report on it ! You can get a copy at Outdoors Oriented in St. Catharines for $10 (all profits go to helping Trout Unlimited do stream restoration in Niagara). It's a very basic how to on getting started in the sport, all the stuff I wish I had known when I began a long time ago... from what gear to buy, to how to set it up, to what flies are good to begin with, to where to fly fish around here.
