Tom S
Well, my Eagle Claw Featherlight arrived today in all its yellow goodness. Can't wait to try it out - hopefully this weekend! Also found a tuna can reel (Martin 61) to go with it, just need to find the time to pick it up. Pictures to follow once I have the reel.

Tom S
Tried her out this weekend. Didn't manage to connect with anything, but so nice to cast. Fits like a glove. Casts biggish flies like a rocket with a WF7 line. Also found a Shakespeare Beaulite reel that matches nicely. Simple click-pawl reel, can't wait to hear it sing. Let me clean it up and pics will be posted. All in all, it's a new rod/reel combo for the grand total of $55. Great deal for someone looking to get into the sport. In fact, a 7ft version of this rod is up on Kijiji right now....

If it's lake run then it's do able but youl have to play it smart and play it out real well, but I'm sure it cam be done. Judging by your instagram bit seems you know very well what your doing.
