I did the layout and design work, and created the Salmon pattern using drafting software. A friend with a CNC in his garage converted it to machine code and did the cutting. I've now got to do a test fit of the hardware and he's got to do some more test cutting to clean up the cuts - the pocketing left some very distinctive track marks. Then I've got to find a finish that will hold up to the elements over the long run. Dave, it's actually not that big. 6" long x 3 3/8" wide x 7/8" tall. Good size to slide into jacket or wader pocket. I wanted a box that can hold hold a few bigger streamers or tubes and not be the size of a boat box.
