fishfight
I just saw this cool video on unsnaging lures while river fishing .and can't wait to try it. I know some of you might say, potentially losing the plastic bottle and polluting our waters, By tying another thicker line to the bottle , then the bottle can be retrieved even if the original main line breaks. I am confuse after watching the video is when the bottle floats above pass the snagged lure,............ how can we let it sink?
smerchly
I would be more inclined to toss the bottle upstream from the snagged lure and reel in quickly to free it from the opposite way it caught the bottom. I have done this using a piece of stick and got my lure back ......like unhooking an anchor in rocky bottom rivers .
