yakfish Posted July 27, 2015 Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 I was finally able to take the yak out yesterday and try out a spot I've scouted on Google maps, and it didn't disappoint. I landed a few pike amd lost a few more short strikers including a much larger fish that I plan to go back and try to hook up with again. l also caught one small largemouth that flopped out of the yak before I could get a pic. Great day to be out on the water. Water temps ranged from 70 degrees in the clear water and up to 77 degrees in the dirty water. Sure beat getting up and going to work!
