One of my bulls was an old fella that had a few puncher holes caused by young bulls , fighting for territory . The butcher called to tell us the meat was full of worms .....that bull was infected by the wounds and would have died . Needless to say , we lost all the meat ....There was another bull and a cow only 30 feet from the old bull , but I wanted the big one ....... He made the 3 hr trip back to town to get a box, he returned and while he was napping we grabbed the box, emptied it and filled it with .22 shells.
