jsummerfield
I live 2 hours from the river and thinking of launching my boat to do some drift fishing Saturday. Can anyone tell me if it's clear enough to fish? No too concerned about ice, just water visibility. Thanks for any info!
NiagaraRiverFisher
3 + feet of thick green water , ramp @ Queenston is pretty bad thou , make sure you got 4wheel or you might be in trouble , ice is pretty bad too , art park drift is your best bet but it's pretty slow these past few days , Queenston is slow too. water vis could change a little overnight with these warm winds ! be safe. smerchly
According to the last sat.picture from NOAA , the river vis looks good . With most of Erie frozen over the wind wouldn't have much effect . https://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/modis/modis.php?region=e&page=1&template=sub&image=t1.18019.1607.LakeErie.143.250m.jpg
Nel
I am very close to the river (Queenston) and stop by often. Let me know when you need a report. Good clarity today but lots of slush.
Sabo99
Any reports on the water clarity/conditions? Thinking about going down Sunday, but it’s a bit of a drive. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
