The little lady with the perch is a picture worth framing , the big smile tells the story ..... and beauty bus !! ....edit..... 60*F outside , sunshine , put all the ice gear away ....time for long rods . Lots of worms on the grass last night , many more tonight ! Looks like I'll be polishing up the carp/pike rods this week ....tossed a line at P.Dal. yesterday for trout but no luck . smerchly Posted February 27, 2018 Report Share Posted February 27, 2018 I remember some early springs when we would fish the 12 mile in early March to catch suckers by the dozens ....double headers many times . We had lots of ice in March of 2014 (and snow) ....so BEWARE ...it ain't over till the fat lady sings . "April Showers" I believe the hut operators had a "decent" year ....maybe some rent boats out to make a few extra bucks after ice out ? I haven't put the snow blower away yet ....
