Doorsy20 Posted June 1, 2018 Report Share Posted June 1, 2018 So been trying for a couple weeks now, still no fish. I have tried different times of day and different locations. I'm pretty certain I have my rig setup right and think i may be plunking my bait in the wrong spots. Been using canned corn on a hair rig and so far have tried multiple areas of beaverdams, lake gibson and charles daly. Took a break from the carp fishing last weekend and took my daughter out for panfish in lake gibson. Much to my surprise and her thrill an aggressive spawning bass took a swipe at a sunfish nibbling on her corn and took the hook himself becoming her first fish ever, gave her a good show and hopefully secured me a fishing buddy for life :P. Anyways if anyone has suggestions of places to try where my bruised ego may finally manage to land a carp I would definitely appreciated it. Thanks!
