Tyler0420
Fished the Thames river yesterday. Caught a few small pike and the heat got too crazy. We found some shade and fished carp. Corn on a hair rig was what we used.

smerchly
WTG guys .....must be a blast to catch those whiskered girls on the fly rod ! It's wayyyy to hot for this old geezer to fish in this heat . I think the carp will turn on as the water quickly begins to boil . (Use boilies) How is the tick situation up your way Tyler ? Tyler0420
No fly rod. That’s a float rod with center pin. He just wanted a fish on that rod Combo. Ticks I didn’t have any on me and didn’t see any and we did a bit of tall grass hiking. You guys can keep them
Mike Pike
WTG Guys. Looks like a nice little spot on the Thames to take on those carp at close quarters.
Tyler0420
Yes it was close quarters and a fallen tree in the water to make things more interesting.
