smerchly Posted July 31, 2018 Report Share Posted July 31, 2018 Checking out one of my "shady" carp spots today , not fishing , just roaming the area checking out a few spots . As expected the garbage was insane .....one spot that was blocked off to traffic has a new "road" made by vehicles to access the water . Garbage everywhere ! Great spot to dump your shingles, tires, old wood etc......until they fence it ! I found a large unopened bag of charcoal plus another bag half full ,with a full can of lighter fluid , covered up with an extra large heavy duty garbage bag and spent charcoal scattered about ....sitting in my yard now ! I noticed several cig packs ...all white with Mohawk Reserve writing on them in all 3 spots plus dozens of butts as expected . Picked up a few bird nests of heavy mono and some fresh 50# power pro that I can use , plus a pack of swivels . It pays to check these spots ! They will need a dump truck to get the trash piles cleaned up ....I pick up fishing line ....the rest can stay until they put the fences up ....
