Thunderstorm fishing

Headed out this morning at 2:30 to get to Kitchener to meet buddy then up to the saugeen. Got to the river and nobody around. I see why, water is low and no fish. Left after an hour. Went to Port Albert and it was chocolate milk, so off to meaford on the way home. Fished under a bridge while the thunderstorm rolled by. When the storm was done so was the fishing. We caught 4bows and some OOS smallies. Good end to the day it was looking like a whitestripe at the start.

Nice pink striper  !  Thunder storms can spook the fish .

Crazy day ....temperature went from 84 to70F in 20 minutes ,  then back to 80F  when the sun popped out again !

I didn't think the geen would be low already.

Good thing you moved around to get that white stripe off your back.

A guy showed up before we left and walked out to the middle, down a bit on the ladder side.  I’d say it’s getting low.

Nice Boe. Glad you came home with a catch. Use to fish up there but never caught anything. Al though we stopped at a stream on the way home and got some nice brookies.
