marth11 Posted September 6, 2019 Report Share Posted September 6, 2019 Well I was out at the pond yesterday targeting some of those freshwater bonefish (carp), lost two with one breaking me off after running for 200 yards. I am heading out again shortly, it's been a while since I've been fishing, before yesterday last time was bass opener. You may need to up your line # a tad to 50 # braid . 🐳 There are carp reels that will hold 1000 + ft. of line ..... Good luck ....send us pics .....carp pics are very rare these days !!
