mck.brad
Just wondering if anyone has launched from the Chippawa Parkway into the Welland River, east of the QEW? If so, is the water too fast there for a kayak? https://goo.gl/maps/gorkQhrQeo4f1Jx37
Jwl1
If you are looking for a scenic adventure....you could always do Lyons creek...good pull off spot at Stanley and Lyons creek rd.....if the current isn't a huge issue on the welland river...you can use the boat ramp at sodom rd....if you shoot down chippawa parkway there are a couple spots on the side of the road on the stretch by the humane society....you might want to be careful by the railroad bridge where the welland meets the canal. Thanks. Looking for more local spots, scenic plus fishing. I'll check these out.
