Surf and Turf
Yes very sad, just shows you how quickly life can go side ways on you, and a good reminder to all myself included that a life jacket could have saved the grandfather's life and the grandson a lifetime of "what ifs". deetch
It just goes to show that any Lake especially Erie should be respected. Unfortunately that day was very windy and rough. Stay home and pick another day it is not worth your life. If you have any doubt STAY HOME or just sit it out for a bit in the parking lot in hopes it calms down. This is a lesson for all of us! So sad. RIP

The man was 85 years old ..... windy , rough water .....LIFE jacket should be on BOTH of them . This was a preventable tragedy . Lesson learned for the younger man ...... 5 hours ago, curious said: Heartbreaking for sure Condolences to his family......
