  1. I'm looking for some guidance with a bow electric purchase for fishing the Niagara. Is a 24V 70 lb. thrust enough? I have a 17 foot aluminum. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  2. I used to go there every year. The narrows between hay bay and west bay is very dependable for pike and bass. Hit elephant lake if you want to target musky.
  3. I recently started to wear them but don't really stand in water higher than mid calf. Like ChefMick said, it's really only to assist with landing fish. I would never wade in the Niagara like you would a smaller river. The key is staying out of dangerous situations whether you're wearing them or not.
  4. Used one to scratch lottery ticket the other day. Uh oh;)

Not the most pleasant sight but I was fine. I'm glad they got it out of there before any kids had to see it. Good work by the Parks Police and the Jet Boat for removing it. They had a bit of trouble but managed to get it done.

Yeah I called it in this morning. The body looked like it had been in the water for quite a while.

  11. Haha. I'll have to catch another one!
  12. Thanks. 50 feet of water, 25 down, with a chartreuse/orange bomber.
  13. Went out on Lake O for my first taste of spring kings yesterday. I'm happy to say I'm no longer a virgin. Weighed in at 17 lbs. Cheers.
