  1. Here are 3 short videos from last week from local school's lots going on and not much time for sharing everywhere drop by every once and a while to check out what's happening. There are some videos of the Kincardine Trout hatchery with the little Browns about a month old and the Rainbows and Browns from last year too. I've been busy with a few blogs up but I'll post one & let you look at the others when you're at the site, we will be expanding again with over 30 schools between all the clubs that are now working together but I'm still waiting for approval for a couple schools & the 8 new chillers will be mailed out on Monday, I have 13 schools set up now & should have another 8 to go if the ones I'll be doing all get approved. We had a blast, I had a big girl swim up from behind a Double 10 Electric Brownie hard & miss it, when it stopped the lure was 2' behind it & I kept reeling when the lure past it there was a big lunge the lure disappeared & was blown back out before I could set the hook, it was maybe 10' away from the boat, I looked at Mike and said I think that was better than catching it, his reply you had no chance at setting the hook it happened that fast lol.   10. 1st time I logged in on my phone waiting for a school group to tour the hatchery when ok got the notice it was fixed, more to come when I get th back on my computer.

That time of year again Al has his 2 Kincardine schools finished releasing their Salmon & the hatchery tour is finished,mine start Monday & continue for the next 3.5 weeks, they are getting to be a nice size & hopefully the weather cooperates with us, the Students have a much nicer time if it's not raining or snowing, So do I. lol. They stay in the class until late April or early May & most of the school's do a bus trip to Kincardine where each of the Students get to release 1 or more Salmon into the river than they split up into 2 groups & half goes for a Light House Tour while the other half tour the Brown & Rainbow Trout hatchery then they switch, a couple classes have been luck enough to release them the week of the Fish Kincardine Derby & have been involved with the weigh station & were part of a Rogers TV broadcast too. Started of in Kincardine at one of our school's then to the Trout hatchery to check on the Browns & Rainbows, next stop Walkerton, Formosa, Brookside & Goderich school's everything is looking good & they are all growing nicely.
