Niagara Outdoor Show This Weekend

The Niagara Outdoor Show was a success again. Numbers were up from last year and anyone who attended would admit that the deals were there for hunting and fishing equipment. I picked up a used Shimano Sedona in great shape for $25. I noticed that shoppers were there for a while, taking their time to find the right deals. It wasn't just about buying, though. You got to meet friends that you don't always see until the fishing season starts. Education thru seminars and information booths is also such a key component to this show. Thanx again to the vendors and exhibitors who continued to be involved with this project. A special thank-you to my good friends Erich Peters, Teresa Romeo and Jason Matson. The Casting Kids Contest...the Niagara Bassmasters did a great job again! Thanx to the members from this site who believe in this show and continue to support it. And Chilli, you da man! You were there on Sat. taking photos and on Sunday you were there 'til the end helping to clean up. Right now, I'm looking forward to the fishing season. Look for a Lund with Niagara Outdoor Show decals. Come over and say hello...regards, Bill

It was great to see a venue full of retailers, exhibitors and people. I spent way more money than I ever expected, but I found a truly amazing deal on a big ticket item that I have been eyeing for along time!

My only regret is that, between working the Conservation Club booth and related running around, I never got to spend time with other forum members. Nevertheless, I was glad I got to at least say "hi" to guys like BigUgly, Hammercarp & Denis. A special thanks to Chilli for his help! Bill, the organizer, is truly a gentleman!!!

I had a great time at the show. It was a pleasure being beside Bruce again and the people of the Niagara region are a great bunch. On Sunday Bruce had the whole family there including his Finnish carp hound.
