davincan
I caught one of these last week for the first time in my life. Had no idea what it was so I put it back. Later learned it was an invasive species so I regretted letting it go. Well, my sons and I returned to the very same spot yesterday and low and behold one of my boys caught it again; in the exact same place using the exact same bait. I am 99% sure it is the exact same fish! Anyway...this one is turtle food now...seems a shame...such a pretty fish!
Jmo1685
Go to the Jordan Beacon Marina and you can see schools of these fish. Was there this past weekend and saw close to 15 swimming around.
Jer
I've been wondering what they were! Seen so any dead and even had a friend of mine catch a bunch we debated but never came to a conclusion on what it was. Thanks for the post now I know! emenius
I've managed to talk people into trying them on the table.... Apparently tasty unfortunently boney to boot though. I am yet to catch one myself but the size looks to be fryable.... Any takers?
gunner-2
Well pike are bony but we manage to get them down us so might be worth a try there's a first time for everything
perkins
Jordan, they are actually very fussy. I caught one in the marina tossed a worm infront of its head and got lucky. Its a small mouth too, so use like a

The Ketchican Kid
I caught my first one yesterday, very fussy as you said. Just a bit of worm weightless tossed to where the pack is.
