rainbow905
Looking to start a fishing journal and would like to track barometric pressure as one of the variables. Looking at a few devices , what are you guys currently using ?
ron4blues
My sinuses. LOL. Seriously, I really haven't a clue other than the weather channels. Maybe there's an app for your phone?
Fish Farmer
You know how many times my buddy's have told me to stick this up my Glad it's got a string on it If I went by it, my boat would sit in my garage most of the time. Just go fishing and hope you hit your lucky day. My most concern is how windy & rough it is.
ron4blues
Haven't tried them of course, but here are some apps: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=barometer&c=apps
floatman
If you have an iPhone, the OS X weather app that comes with the phone gives the barometric pressure as part of the data for the locale you are presently in. It's the first page. Scroll down to see it. In Hamilton at present it is 1016mb. I have a friend who swears rising pressure and 1014mb is prime fishing time. Except on freakin' cold windy days like today....
Buckshot
I used to keep a journal right down to the tiniest of details ! I use a in home weather station that sits on my counter top lol it very cool to look back to it n compare seasons ! You ll find some interesting correlations,I know I did ...don't do it anymore as I found after few years you just know exactly what to do without referring back ! Have fun !!
